Over 50% of adults have high blood pressure, but late afternoon and early evening exercise is more effective in normalizing it than morning exercise. High intensity interval training in the afternoon was also found to reduce blood glucose levels more than in the morning, based on a small study of type 2 diabetics with continuous glucose monitors. A larger study is planned.
