Advantages of Build4Rent and Rental Properties
Brand new homes in the Build4Rent model offer a single-family experience, but capital costs are challenging. Market participants not tied to borrowings could find opportunities. Rental cash flow is compelling compared to merchant building. Multifamily properties offer long-term cash-flowing annuities. Despite land and labor cost challenges, rental properties offer better returns than treasuries for investors as the yield curve shifts. There is a growing need for rental properties as older homes are less desirable and costly to refurbish.
