In the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), there's an unfounded myth that these efforts don't benefit white men. However, it's important to recognize that there are both good and bad examples of men in the headlines. While some white men in organizations strive to do the work, they might feel demonized and blamed. Nevertheless, in my role promoting DEI, I avoid reacting negatively when a white male colleague asks a question, as it is crucial to foster understanding rather than resorting to accusations.
