Bob Lord came up with the idea of studying the mindsets of people who see someone else as a leader. The qualities associated with leaders are sensitive, intelligent, dedicated, and dynamic. Sometimes people may have these qualities but not see themselves as leaders. In a group with a boss, people may not consider leadership as part of their identity. Surprisingly, only 16% of MBA students identify themselves as leaders when asked to describe themselves.
