Living for the Benefit of Others as a Christian Testimony
In smaller communities, there is a price to pay for losing a sense of mission. True Christian testimony involves living for the benefit of others when Christ comes into someone's heart, a family, or a community. The instinct of Christians is to live for the benefit of others, as seen in historical examples like during the downfall of the Roman Empire, where Christians welcomed the sick while others pushed them away. When the Holy Spirit dwells within us, Christians want to invite others in and extend hospitality.
