If evil is to be conquered in a pitched battle, it needs some of its own proponents to either stop their evil deeds or become half-hearted in their efforts. This can happen when doubts arise within them and they begin to express their disagreement through less efficient actions. Even addiction, depression, and procrastination can be seen as forms of protest, as they indicate a lack of unity in one's actions. These acts of protest may actually be the manifestation of a desire for true health and expression.
