*Confucius and Morality with Socrates *
Confucius, in so many ways, resemble socrates. He believed that humans had an inherent obligation to live a moral life. In his example, people aren't living a virtuous life because they're scared of retribution by a powerful dictator. They're doing it for selfish reasons that happen to aline with the wants of the state.
