NOTE

Work Life Balance and Your Twenties Or Thirties

Therapists should not see friends of clients or friends of friends, as boundaries can become blurred. Investing in therapy for self-understanding and breaking intrinsic bad habits leads to a happier, more contented life. Happiness is different from seeking pleasure, as it involves being content with what you have. It is essential to choose a well-trained therapist with a strong educational background, such as a Ph.D. or M.D. with post-doctoral training, to ensure quality. In terms of work-life balance, the concept is questioned, with emphasis on viewing work as a calling that provides spiritual nourishment. Working hard in your twenties and thirties is necessary for a remarkable career, and if seeking work-life balance at a young age, it could indicate being in the wrong career. Loving what you do eliminates the need for work-life balance as the goal is to engage in your passion as much as possible.
