The common belief that avoiding conflicts and not fighting in relationships is ideal puts a limit on the depth of the relationship. Embracing conflict, although uncomfortable at first, can lead to valuable outcomes and stronger, less fragile relationships. Society's notion of avoiding conflict as the key to better relationships is not always true, as relationships can benefit from addressing issues and facing challenges head-on.
