i don't think anyone would say the media is not ideological these days. There's a lot of different levels where there are concentrated interests, like foreign governments and weapons manufactures. They find certain people who are congruin with their interests, andand they promote those people and support them. So ideas are important but it's which ideas gain power that needs to be explained.
