Duh: Need for Long Now Dictators

The present should be seen as a critical moment where errors are not affordable, but this perspective can lead to a technocratic approach with no room for disagreements. This leads to a more top-down view of politics where decisions are made by those who understand the present stakes best, such as technocrats or those influencing AI regulations.
