After setting up an organized digital system and clarifying all important items, the key to making the system effective is daily and weekly maintenance. The daily maintenance involves reviewing the system every morning to plan the day and then reviewing it again before shutting down work to ensure all loose ends are captured in the system. The weekly maintenance includes revisiting and fully updating the system at the start of each week, including clearing the inbox. These consistent practices will establish trust in the system and contribute to long-term organization in the face of increasing digital distractions.
