Children often get prescribed medications like Adderall and Ritalin when they can't sit still due to behavior issues. These behaviors, linked to ultra-processed foods, can significantly improve by cutting out artificial dyes and preservatives. Studies indicate that one in three kids with attention and behavior problems benefit from eliminating these additives. In contrast to Europe, the U.S. lacks warning labels on such foods. For instance, artificial dyes in products like Gatorade can trigger severe behavior problems in children without the parents connecting the dots.
