Facing criticism and the valuable lesson it teaches
Facing criticism in the peer review process taught me to embrace it as an opportunity to improve my work. Instead of trying to prove critics wrong, I focus on creating a better version of my work. My mentor advises me to dance with the reviewers, not necessarily following their every suggestion, but showing that I'm willing to listen. I see criticism as a chance to sharpen my thinking and get better results in future projects. Despite my lack of dancing skills, I find this metaphor to be a beautiful way of viewing criticism.
