The Diluted Cultism and search for meaning of Modern Society
We have this belief that we are living in an improved version of the past, but actually, we are still running in the same model, just in a diluted form. Our modern experiences and beliefs are nowhere near the intensity of the past. We try to fill the void by creating new cults or searching for meaning, but it's getting harder because we feel ungrounded and uncentered. That's why we still reach for religion and other things like science or even sports teams.
