Anne radcliffe believed that terror and horror weren't neighbours, thoug they were opposites. The gothic is interested in exploring lots of the things that we're interested in in horror,. You know, terrore and the differences between terror and horror are thing that the gothic was bound up with. It deals with a sense of dread, mystery, suspense, that kind of thing.
