The Lack of Privilege Outside of My Front Door
Living in the city allows me to expose my kids to the reality of privilege and the importance of giving back. I don't have to go far to see homelessness - there are people charging their phones on my front porch. It's an opportunity to have meaningful conversations with my kids about our role in the world. Plus, living on a cul-de-sac with other CEOs would only reinforce a privileged mindset. Let's stop glorifying excessive travel to kids and instead focus on teaching them empathy and gratitude.
