This gap hinders the scholarly community's ability to adapt to mega trends that shape power dynamics in contemporary society. The recognition of technological shifts as pivotal influences on wealth and power contrasts with traditional notions of strength rooted in military capabilities. To effectively respond to these changes, there is a compelling need for a supportive environment—akin to a sandbox or test area—where entrepreneurs can innovate without the constraints of outdated paradigms. Furthermore, the existing uncertainty surrounding fatwas does not necessarily deter active participation in technological realms; rather, it emphasizes the need for clear and engaged scholarly discourse that can provide guidance and clarity. This proactive scholarly engagement can foster a more informed and dynamic interaction between the Muslim community and emerging technologies, ultimately allowing for a more timely and effective response to shifts in the global landscape.
