Root of Desires: Flesh, Spirit, and Devil

The flesh is where competing desires like ambition, insecurity, and perfectionism take root, affecting personality and thought patterns. These desires can hinder hearing divine calls, held under the ego which gratifies immediate desires but dehumanizes over time. The Holy Spirit provides clarity and direction, enriching the inner life, while the devil schemes to sow lies and confusion, diminishing spiritual growth.
