Coordinated Effort to Insert Trump Agenda Supporters into Government Roles

A mass coordinated effort by the Heritage Foundation and other Trump-leaning groups is assembling a roster of supporters to be inserted into government roles. However, the process is not well-coordinated and may not be welcomed by Donald Trump himself. The criteria for selection seem to focus on loyalty to Trump rather than experience in government or policy. Trump's top campaign people have distanced themselves from these efforts, possibly due to past experiences with appointees who prioritized the law over Trump's interests. With the potential insertion of inexperienced individuals into key government positions, there are concerns about their ability to effectively execute policies. The limited number of people that could be inserted, even at the highest estimates, would only form a small fraction of the federal government, where the majority still adhere to established rules and procedures. Hence, the effectiveness of these inexperienced individuals in advancing the Trump agenda is questionable.
