Cardio renal syndrome can occur not only due to low cardiac output but also because of congestion in the venous side of the renal capillary bed, causing difficulties in blood flow through the kidney. This congestion, even with good heart output, can lead to increased pressure and blockage in the venous side, affecting blood flow through the kidney.
