While empathy can be powerful, it should be submissive to one's values, truth, and principles, especially in relation to love. True love necessitates truth, and empathy, if not submissive to superior values, can be manipulative and coercive. It is essential to strike a balance between empathy and other values to act for the greater good, as excessive empathy can hinder necessary actions.
