Effective change management requires a strategic narrative approach that follows a specific sequence: first, individuals must visualize the broad context of change, understanding the larger narrative and opportunities it presents, which can initially evoke fear but should ultimately highlight potential. Next, the focus shifts to a personal and emotional connection, encouraging individuals to relate and identify with the change on a personal level. Finally, presenting data and evidence solidifies belief in the change. Beginning with data is ineffective; the process must start with seeing the big picture, moving to feeling, and then concluding with believing.
