In San Francisco, a family of four earning $100,000 is below the poverty line. It's because you're paying it all in rent, as landowners know that this area is more productive. And so they can charge just right up to that limit. As city gets more productive, we talk about all the things that increase productivity. This has been going on for some time and I'm trying to stop it from happening again.
