In chapter four, verse 14, we learn about the superiority of Jesus's priesthood. He is our great high priest who has passed into the heavens, unlike earthly priests. This author wants us to hold fast to our beliefs and have confidence in Jesus as the true captain of our salvation. Jesus understands our weaknesses and temptations because he became human and experienced them himself. This knowledge can be comforting and encouraging for those struggling with temptations.

Dr. Grey continues to teach why we worship Jesus Christ and the depths and breadths of His Atonement and how it allows Him to succor His people as well as exploring the wisdom of the author of Hebrews as they emphasize the importance of beginning with spiritual “milk” but the necessity of progressing to spiritual “meat” and spiritual maturity.
