The Harm of Narrowing Men into Stereotypes

The first edition of Wild at Heart narrows men down to superficial stereotypes which can be harmful and exclude men who don't fit that mold./nMaking cultural stereotypes the essence of biblical masculinity is also harmful and goes against the Christian vision of masculinity./nThe preoccupation with power and strength doesn't have much of a place in a Christian vision of masculinity./nCertain exercises of power and physical strength are not necessarily bad, but should not be the focus of masculinity in a Christian context.
