Open College Podcast

NOTE

Nietzsche's Ethics: A Psychobiological Understanding of Human Nature

Nicha believes in a conflictual and non-rationalist view of human nature derived from a psychobiological basis./nHuman beings are all trying to assert themselves and have an inbuilt drive - the will to power./nNicha arrays human beings along a spectrum with master types having more powerful drives and slave types having weaker drives./nMoral codes are a conscious formulation of one's instinctual drives and an expression of one's psychobiological type./nThere are two basic types of moral code - master morality and slave morality./nLife is essentially conflict and expropriation, and the master types are confident in power struggles and embrace the world as it is.
