Easier to process means more believable

The more we hear something, the more likely we are to believe it. When our brain takes less effort to process information, we perceive it as familiar and true. This is why repetition and visual cues like big fonts can make us more likely to believe something. Additionally, connecting new information to our existing beliefs, or priors, also makes it easier for us to process and accept. However, it's important to note that this phenomenon can lead to false beliefs. So while repetition and cognitive ease can be persuasive, critical thinking is still necessary to differentiate between true and false information.
