Concentration is Constructed, Reality is Challenging
Meditation practices often encounter the issue of spiritual bypassing, where individuals avoid dealing with difficult psychological aspects by focusing on meditation achievements. In traditions like Vipassana, a distinction exists between samadhi (basic concentration) and samasamadhi (pure concentration on reality). While it's easier to concentrate on fictional narratives, such as films, true meditation requires confronting the complexities and pains of reality, which presents a significant challenge.
