The 12 Week Cycle of Goal Pursuit

To effectively pursue a goal, it is important to make it measurable by defining the duration of goal pursuit and the amount of time spent on the goal each week or each day. The recommended approach is to establish a roughly 12 week period, also known as a quarterly or three-month cycle, to focus on the specific goal. Within this cycle, clearly define the number of hours per week and per day dedicated to pursuing the goal, as well as the specific days of the week for goal-related activities. This approach is effective for 90% or more of different types of goals.
