113: Productivity Prime Time

Time and Attention

NOTE

Biological Prime Time and Creativity

Productivity is highest in the early morning for early birds, late afternoon and evening for night owls, and early to mid-morning for those in between. Energy levels correspond to productivity, with peak energy levels resulting in higher productivity and lower energy levels leading to increased creativity due to less inhibition in the prefrontal cortex. Early birds may find their creative prime time in the late afternoon or early evening, whereas night owls are most creative in the morning.
