The Holy Post

NOTE

Redemptive Power and Authority

The redemptive power is evident when Jesus commands demons to go and they obey, showcasing His authority over them. While human use of power over can be corruptible, God incarnate in Jesus demonstrates that power over can be redemptive. Although human hands may corrupt power over, it is not inherently corrupting if exercised by God in a redemptive manner. The use of anger and power over by the church can be corruptible in human hands, contrasting with the redemptive way in which God displays anger.
