The Psychological Level of Description

Assuming that atoms are more real than macroscopic reality is unworkable. Different levels of description are useful for different purposes. The biochemistry of the brain requires a subcellular level, while the broader picture needs an anatomical level. To talk about our experiences, the psychological level is most valuable. Reality follows different rules at different scales.
