Immediate Beauty vs. Timeless Beauty

Buildings should be designed to be beautiful both at the present moment and in the future. Emphasizing that the true beauty of a structure will be revealed over time may not be convincing to potential buyers or stakeholders who prioritize immediate attractiveness. A gothic cathedral, for example, can be appreciated immediately and will also stand the test of time, while a structure like Stonehenge may not be universally considered beautiful due to subjective perceptions of beauty.
