How Many of Seven Million Cats?
There were about seven million cats in the UK at the time of the ad. How many had to be surveyed for the company to make this claim? It's an incredibly small number. 250 cats will give you a confidence level of saying, well, 19 out of 20 times, that will get me five % away from the true value.
