NOTE

The Difference Between Intrinsic and Extrinsic Motivation

Children with no reward spent seventeen per cent of their time drawing. But the children who expected a reward, so to speak, they only spent eight per cent oftheir time drawing. In other words, the extrinsic reward had literally arved their motivation. And that's why gamification does not work. When gamefication does work, it is because the underlying experience was already a game.
