Understanding Charge with the Torah

When Allah mentions people charged with the Torah and not upholding it, it does not refer to all Jews but only some who failed to abide by it. The Quran actually mentions more Jewish and Israelite prophets than those of any other nation, like Musa, highly revered. Allah neither solely criticizes nor praises the Jews, providing specific case studies, like those who were given the Torah but failed to live by it, as a means of illustrating the importance of fulfilling the responsibilities that come with being entrusted with the Torah.
