How Does Jesus Teach Us to Pray? (The Lord’s Prayer Pt. 1)

BibleProject

NOTE

Respecting the Lord's Prayer

English translations have closely followed the King James version of the Lord's prayer due to its significance and ingrained nature in people's minds. Altering the prayer is considered sensitive as it holds a special place. The prayer consists of 12 lines divided into two halves of six lines each. The first half is centered around addressing God as 'our father' and making three requests related to acknowledging His holiness and the arrival of His kingdom.
