New obesity research suggests that a small tweak in the brain could allow people to eat as much as they want without getting obese. However, this idea is still premature. Processed foods make people feel bad, while fresh fruit and nuts make them feel fine. Overeating is only stopped by the fear of obesity, but if people could eat as much processed food as they wanted, they wouldn't feel better.
