Creating Warmth (Psychological Safety) in a Shared Leadership Structure

Teams are most effective and productive when they have warmth and a shared structure. However, we rarely focus on creating warmth in a group charged with a task. We usually prioritize the task itself. It's important for everyone to feel valued and contribute to the group culture. Building a sense of collective is essential. It doesn't have to be solely the leader's responsibility. However, social behaviors are not recognized as much as leadership when someone is not in a formal position of authority.
