Advancement in AI Research and Limitations of Current Models
Utilizing AI enabled researchers to efficiently target drug locations and methods without infringing on existing drug IP. The AI-based research not only helps in finding new treatments but also potential cures for major diseases. Large language models are deemed incapable of achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI) due to the lack of understanding of how the world operates, reasoning, planning, and long-term memory. Meta is exploring a novel approach, V. Jepa, inspired by how babies learn, to teach models effectively. By enabling models to understand the world and make predictions, there is potential to achieve AGI and enhance their capabilities beyond just word prediction.
