The Importance of Repentance
Repentance involves making living amends when you wrong people, hurt them, or break their trust. As a public figure, one's whole life should be dedicated to living amends, especially when hurting people on a larger scale. While it may not be possible to apologize individually to everyone affected, living a life of integrity, honesty, and demonstrating change can give people hope and reason to believe. The key revelation is that one cannot change people but can influence them by leading a life of integrity and honesty.
