Exploratory testing is a semi-structured approach that relies on individual creativity while maintaining some boundaries. Exploratory testing is not highly repeatable but excels in broad testing reaching areas where scripted testing falls short. Successful exploratory testing blurs the lines with automation by creating tools for monitoring, injecting data, setting up data swiftly, and accelerating the testing process.
