Balancing Virtue and Profit: The Role of Catholic Business Owners
As a Catholic business owner and CEO, one must measure success based on virtue rather than profit. This does not mean separating virtue from profit, but rather finding virtue in making money. Virtues like liberality, magnificence, justice, and industriousness define success in the Christian tradition. Making money is justified when it is a result of doing something good for others, allowing for an equal exchange of value.
