Embracing Intense Emotions

Allowing oneself to accept and be okay with feelings of sorrow, grief, anger, and rage, and finding ways to support the body through these emotional waves. One can find solace in nature by sitting by a creek, leaning against a tree, crying, or releasing anger and rage in a wild forest without judgment, allowing the emotional experience to be what it is. Embracing and expressing these intense emotions without suppression is a part of connecting with the raw, animalistic self while maintaining communication and connection with others.

allowing them to be okay um allowing the sorrow and the grief to be all right allowing the anger and the rage to be okay and finding ways to be with those intense emotional states so that my body is supported whilst um my emotions and my mind are dealing with those experiences so the way that i support my body through those emotional waves is i go and reset by sitting by a creek or sitting with my back against a tree and letting myself have a good cry and feeling really fine and dandy about having a good cry you know um it's healthy it's really healthy too and then you know if there's anger and rage oh wow there's no no better place than a wild forest to go and just have a really good scream or thrash around on the ground you know the three-year-old tantrum without it impacting up on anybody else at all just releasing that and not judging the rage or the anger but just letting it be what it is and i think that's part of that wildness that you might might have been referring to before it's that um really knowing the animal self and then obviously because i still want to being connection and communication with people is how to be with that animal self and let it be its most expressed self without interfering with my
