Understanding the Power of Qubits in Quantum Computing
A qubit differs from a bit in that it can spin up or spin down, representing one or zero. In contrast, a traditional digital computer uses electricity to calculate zeros and ones. A qubit, like a spinning top, can simultaneously spin in all directions, making quantum computers infinitely more powerful. Electrons in a quantum computer can be in multiple places and orientations simultaneously, unlike humans. Quantum computers harness the power of atoms, allowing for complex calculations in parallel universes.
