Understanding Radical Candor through a Two by Two Framework

Radical candor is the combination of caring personally and challenging directly, falling into the upper right quadrant. Failure to care personally while challenging directly results in obnoxious aggression. Not caring or challenging leads to manipulative insincerity. On the other hand, caring too much without challenging is termed as ruinous empathy.
