Jesus Comes for the Physically and Spiritually Poor

Jesus comes for two groups of people. The first group is the physically poor, oppressed, and hurting, who recognize their need for help. The second group is the spiritually poor and captive, who may not even realize their captivity. Jesus offers salvation and freedom to both those in physical and spiritual need, to those seeking a sense of God's presence and goodness.
