Jeff Bezos has built an organizational framework where the whole company aligns with his beliefs and thinking, even though he is in a chairman role and not involved in every decision. This structure enables the company to run experiments and take risks, such as using Uber for same-day delivery trials, showcasing a level of comfort with innovation and experimentation uncommon in other large companies. Bezos has institutionalized a culture of experimentation and risk-taking, allowing internal experiments to continue until the last person with good judgment gives up, a stark contrast to how most big companies operate.
