The human innovation was to take rich culture, which our ancestors and our close relatives all had, and then connect that to vocal expression. We took a bird-like way of being with a primate way of organizing culture, and boom, that's what generated human language. And all of that through a fish ear. Yeah, we really are a chimera and amalgam. I like that. It's like a Douglas Adams, the Babel fish that is stuck. Sticking your ear. Right, yeah. So this is a fish that you'd stick in your ear and it would translate all languages for you. Unfortunately, we haven't quite invented that yet. But essentially it's like
